Last week, we saw a meaningful change for West Croydon – the Overground line running from Highbury & Islington to our very own West Croydon Station has officially been renamed the Windrush Line and will now be marked in red on the map.

This change recognises the incredible contributions made by the Windrush Generation, who have played such a crucial role in shaping the vibrancy of Croydon, London, and our country.
